Spring is here again, and what a beautiful one in Tennessee! The dogwoods are blooming, and Abby (my miniature schnauzer) is happily chasing bugs! Back in December I played a few Christmas shows with Jimmy Sturr (http://www.jimmysturr.com) in New York. I enjoyed a friends & family Christmas get together over the holidays with plenty of home cooked goodies, complete with a guitar pull. From January through March I played 18 memorable shows in Florida, and turned around then flew to England to tour. I had a great time filming “Six White Horses” for Balcony TV while there.
Easter is right around the corner, and it always gets me thinking about being a kid. When I was young my mom would dye Easter Eggs on the Saturday before Easter, and with a wax pen put our names on them. We’d play with them for a while, then they’d get hidden for us to find Sunday morning. I remember that I always got a new pair of shoes and an outfit for church on Easter morning. We still dye eggs at my house every Easter.
I’m looking forward to taking my 49 Caddy out for a spin around Nashville with the windows down and the radio up. I’ll be playing several shows in Canada, California, Michigan, Ohio & New Jersey through out the year. I hope if your close by you’ll come out and see my show! Keep It Country!
